The Washington Redskins are rolling in Week 17 after Kirk Cousins connected with Pierre Garcon for the touchdown.
Kirk Cousins has a touchdown in every Washington Redskins game this NFL season. He added another touchdown to the tally with some help from Pierre Garcon who hauled in the ball on a ridiculous catch for the touchdown.
Cousins did well to avoid the pass rush, keep his composure, and find Garcon who hauled in the ball for the touchdown. It was a complete play as the offensive line held the Cowboys defensive line from hitting Cousins, the quarterback made a heck of a throw down the field, and Garcon found the ball as he was running into the end zone.
While Washington wasn’t the best team in the NFL, they have secured a playoff spot by winning the NFC East. If Cousins can connect with his teammates more often, then they could surprise some teams during the Wild Card round and deeper into the playoffs.
One thing is for sure: Washington made the right decision starting Cousins and benching Robert Griffin III earlier this season. Cousins has been a leader the team was lacking and Garcon’s crazy catch ability have given Washington a chance all season long.
